My name is Dorothy. I am forty-something and have a funny accent. I was born in Poland and have lived in Australia for over than thirty years.
This is not a funny mummy blog, even though I do have a sense of humour and sometimes am quite witty (at least I think so).
This is not a parenting blog, even though I often write about my struggles with motherhood and my adventures in sole parenting two small boys.
This is not a craft or food blog, even though I occasionally write about my craft phobia and post pictures of my children engaged in crafty activities. You might even occasionally find a recipe.
It is certainly not a fashion blog, even if I did make it into the Fox in Flats Top 50 Style Dare Bloggers list.
So what is this blog about?
It's about finding myself, after many years of being lost. It's about being a woman, free to make her own choices, reach for the stars and not be answerable to anybody.
I am also an advocate for mental health and stopping violence against women.
